Why Celebrities use pilates
It’s simple. Pilates makes you feel good!
Pilates helps with anxiety and stress. Pilates challenges you physically and relaxes you mentally. You may be tired and resistant going into a class or private session, but you are sure to feel refreshed and relaxed afterwards.
However, what many don’t realize is how beneficial Pilates is for your mental and emotional health. Pilates is a whole and mind conditioning methodology and a good Pilates session will help gain mental clarity and focus. When you are thinking better, everything flows better. You will experience increased energy and perhaps a sense of relaxation at the same time.
Celebrities do Pilates
Celebrities with demanding schedules and appearances, need an exercise system that ticks all the boxes. Both mat and studio-based Pilates including reformer Pilates can do just that. Within an hour, you can get a full body workout and walk out feeling lighter, taller and more stretched out.
According to Metro.co.uk Adele’s 100-pound weight loss transformation has “helped put Reformer Pilates on the map.” Adele’s former trainer says her transformation was a result of a 1000 calorie per day diet, green smoothies and her newfound love for exercise including Reformer Pilates. Adele has been spotted working out alongside Robbie William’s wife, Ayda Field as well.
Lady Gaga does Pilates to help with her fibromyalgia which causes pain all over her body. She had a bad flare up with her fibromyalgia and chronic pain after a bad car accident and has used Pilates and yoga to help her with her rehabilitation. She documented her journey with chronic pain on Instagram and Pilates played a big role.
